Parks are plentiful both with the city of Steamboat and in the surrounding area. Sheep used to summer around Pearl Lake, Stagecoach Park has a 780 acre reservoir, and Steamboat Lake has amazing views. Within the town is Yampa River Botanic Park that offers “social gardening”. Yampa River Park is three parks in one with multiple opportunities for recreation.
